alPHa and OPHA are engaged in a project with the Ontario Agency for Health Protection and Promotion (OAHPP) to inform the implementation of a new knowledge exchange and professional development web-based strategy.
A series of consultations with member stakeholder groups in public health are being planned as part of the needs analysis for the web-based strategy. It will be important for the following perspectives to be included in the consultations: • Northern, rural/urban health units • Large/small health units • Practitioners who have varying comfort and familiarity levels with web-based technologies.
Timeframe of consultations: February 21-March 11, 2011 (Dates and times to be confirmed. Please note that each stakeholder group will have one specific date for their group. Some groups will be put together to ensure everyone can be included in the time frame.)
Time Commitment: One 2-hour consultation
