The 1969 graduating class of Public Health Inspection (69ers) in early October held its 7th reunion, this year at the Fallsview Casino Hotel in Niagara Falls Ontario.
Starting with the first reunion in 1984 (fifteen years after graduation), a core group of 10 -12 of the class of 21 met every five years until the 2008 when at the reunion in Prince Edward Island it was decided to shorten the intervals in recognition of the advancing age and deteriorating health of a few members of the group.
While the majority of the 69ers graduating class (all now retired) reside and worked in various parts of Ontario, these reunions were attended by colleagues from afar i.e. Edmonton, Winnipeg and Prince Edward Island.
It serves as a testament to the strong relationships that were forged during the two years at Ryerson that this core group has remained in touch over the 43 years.
